3 recommended affirmations for meditation
Stress is one of those things that are difficult to feel.
Without realizing it, you may be causing damage to your body until it decreases in function and you become ill.
Even then, you don't think that stress is the cause of the illness or the poor physical condition.
I feel that from my past experiences.
However, as time goes by, I even forget such things.
That's why I keep my body in the best condition by affirming the following three insights I gained from a session last year during meditation to prevent stress accumulation.
These three affirmations are:
I am grateful for all existence.
I love the true nature of all existence.
I wish for the happiness of all existence.
It is a very short sentence, and people may have different interpretations, but if you can grasp and use these three affirmations effectively, I think stress will accumulate very little.
A while ago, there was a man named Seikan Kobayashi who popularized the idea that "if you keep saying 'thank you,' everything will go well."
I have a memory of attending a lecture by him.
Certainly, I still think there is an effect.
But instead of blindly repeating "thank you,"
I think it is better to do the same thing with clear purpose and intention.
The same goes for the above three affirmations. It is better to recite the sentence after understanding it deeply, adapted to your own situation, rather than just repeating the words.
"I am grateful for all existence."
Literally, everything from the microorganisms living in the nose hairs of dear people close by, to the atoms of ice in comets flying to the end of the universe. Laughing
I don't say you have to be grateful, but it's clear that being grateful is better than not being grateful because stress accumulates less.
"I love the existence of all things as they are."
No matter how unjustly someone acts, there is a reason why they cannot avoid it.
Most stress is related to "human relationships."
Stress occurs in response to people who do things you cannot understand (or are doing).
You don't have to understand perfectly, but when you encounter people or situations you don't understand, try to understand within your abilities and don't let the people or situations around you have a negative effect on your body.
"I wish for the happiness of all existence."
This is not mandatory, but wishing for the happiness of all existence is better than not wishing for it, and both you and the world will work better.
Acting not for the sake of reward, but simply wishing for the happiness of others.
Of course, this applies not just to some existences but to all existences in the world.
Regarding the three affirmations, you can delve deeper, but it's better to think about each person's introspection, so I'll leave it at that.
See you later!
